Highway Deployment

Permanent, Unjammable, Urban-Canyon-Penetrating Microlocation Digital Street System – No Taxpayer Cost

The Ultra-Wideband Roadway Geometry NetworkTM (URGNTM) delivers an unjammable, all-weather, snow-and-ice-penetrating “digital rail” that gives every vehicle 4–10 cm lane-level positioning in blizzards, solid glare ice, dense fog, long tunnels, urban canyons, and deliberate GPS jamming — using only the UWB chips already built into every new iPhone, Android flagship, and 2025+ vehicle.

URGNTM will prevent thousands of deaths and tens of thousands of life-changing injuries each year by eliminating 15–40% of serious winter crashes caused by lane departures in northern states, while returning billions of productive hours lost to weather-related slowdowns. It also delivers true lane-level congestion data (knowing exactly which lane an incident is blocking in real time) and enables instant, adaptive work-zone guidance that keeps traffic flowing safely around closures.

Implementation is simple: private industry adds a small UWB tag to the raised pavement markers and reference posts that your crews already replace every year — no new poles, no extra lane closures, just a change order to existing striping contracts. (Actual cost is less than 1/10th the normal restriping costs with 5x redundancy built in.)

In exchange for fully funding deployment and 30 years of operations & maintenance at zero cost to taxpayers, the private partner receives the right to provide licensed data access to robotaxi fleets, ADAS makers, insurers, delivery companies, and navigation providers.

URGNTM permanently ends winter lane-departure crashes, enables nationwide Level 4/5 autonomy, and makes the DoD and first responders resilient to PNT failures.

A single 500-mile pilot in winter 2027 will prove it works exactly as promised.

This is the simplest, highest-impact highway safety and mobility upgrade we can make with technology that already exists at scale. Let’s issue the first change orders in 2026 and give America roads that save lives, save time, and keep drivers from losing their way again. For more information, contact Email: info@urgns.com
